Rebuilding Life with the Landscape Conceived as more than the reconstruction of housing, the project approaches post-earthquake recovery as the creation of a safe, resilient and humane living environment . Residential blocks are carefully terraced along the natural topography, allowing the landscape to flow throughout the settlement and shape pedestrian-friendly streets, communal spaces and a renewed sense of neighborhood. With its restrained architectural language, human-scaled massing and strong relationship with nature, the project transforms reconstruction into an environment of safety, belonging and a new beginning .
