Rebuilding a city is not simply about reconstructing buildings; it is about rebuilding memory, community, and everyday life. Developed for post-earthquake Malatya, the masterplan approaches reconstruction as a complete urban habitat rather than a collection of isolated housing blocks. Human-scaled neighborhoods are woven together through public squares, green corridors, pedestrian routes, and social anchors, allowing commerce and community life to become an integral part of the urban fabric. Reinterpreting local architectural references through a contemporary language, the project envisions a safer, resilient Malatya where architecture becomes a framework for renewed belonging. QAT Project — Rebuilding more than buildings. Rebuilding the city’s life.
